Birmingham wedding photography
I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in the heart of Birmingham, where the bride was Polish and the groom was British. The couple had a relaxed and fun-filled day, which made it a joy to capture every moment.
The day started off with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready in a quaint and cosy hotel suite. The bride, Katarzyna, was surrounded by her closest friends and family, all buzzing with excitement for the day ahead. Her hair was elegantly styled in loose curls and she wore a stunning white gown that hugged her curves perfectly.
Meanwhile, the groom, Charles, was preparing with his groomsmen at a nearby hotel. They all looked dashing in their tailored suits and had a few laughs together before heading to the ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the Registry Office in the centre of Birmingham to which we were almost late due to heavy traffic! Luckily the double-decker bus with the couple and their guests made it just in time.
The reception was held at a charming venue, where the couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal and some heart-warming speeches. The couple had a beautiful first dance, which was followed by a night of dancing and laughter.
One of the highlights of the day was the blending of both cultures. The couple had a traditional British wedding cake and a delicious Polish sweet table, which included homemade pierogi, chrusciki, and other delights. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the union of two families from different backgrounds.
In the end, it was a perfect day filled with love, laughter, and plenty of memories. I felt privileged to be a part of it and capture the special moments for the happy couple. It was a true pleasure to photograph such a relaxed and beautiful wedding in Birmingham, and I wish Joanna and David all the happiness in their future together.
