Melissa & Stuart booked me to do their Himley wedding photography at quite short notice and I am so grateful they did 🙂 This lovely couple got married in Dudley, West Midlands.  Their magical day began with Melissa getting ready at the 17th century listed Himley House Hotel, on the Stourbridge Road near Dudley, where later on following the wedding ceremony the reception was held.
We all had a fun time at the historical Dudley Priory Park and Ruins during the wedding ceremony, everyone looked stunning and so glamorous! It was like something out of a Hello Magazine shoot. The bridesmaids looked stunning and elegant, but the Bride and Groom (together with cheeky little Jack) stole the show! Melissa’s bridal dress was to die for and with the stylish soft floral colour bouquets, the whole ceremony showed all the class and sophistication this beautiful couple deserve.
Following the family formal photographs at the ruins, we all departed for the Himley Wedding Reception back at the hotel. Â The newly married couple looked very at home in their classic Rolls Royce. Â The reception went really smoothly, Â lovely food and wine, brilliant speeches and entertainment and we had a great opportunity for some lovely photos in and around these amazing grounds at Himley House Hotel.
The whole day was absolutely amazing, a gorgeous couple, a beautiful location, and even the weather turned out to be perfect, I am sure everyone thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Himley wedding of the year!’.
On a professional note, I absolutely loved all the personal touches! Something borrowed – the crystal necklace that Melissa’s granddad gave her mother on her wedding day, bridesmaid Kate’s shoes that Melissa will be wearing later this year for her wedding, Stuart’s cufflinks with Melissa and their charming little son Jack’s names on them.
Not to mention that they D.I.Y-ed all decorations themselves!  Even Stuart’s boss was there with his excellently gifted band – wow, now that’s a great gift 🙂
Everything looked fabulous, I Â thoroughly enjoyed all of the company and hospitality from the whole family and wonderful friends and hope you will all enjoy the pictures of your Himley Wedding extravagance x
